We have just invested in a Cycleops i400 Pro Indoor testing rig that utilises the latest PowerTap technology.
Testing
Physiological assessments provide you with accurate analysis of your current cycling fitness. The objective of each assessment is to provide you with information that is relevant to your training and goal focus.
Packages Available
Standard Assessment £125 • Peak sprint power test – used to determine peak power output & optimal cadence. This test requires a maximal sprint effort from a stationary start
• Functional threshold test – 20‐25mins cycling at different intensities during which your power output, heart rate and blood lactate concentration is monitored for calculation of your functional threshold and individualised training zones
Performance Assessment £155
• Standard assessment plus; • Maximal aerobic power test – following completion of the functional threshold test your maximal power output is measured during a 10‐15min test during which exercise intensity increases until exhaustion
Power Profile Assessment £185
• Performance Assessment plus; • Repeated sprint test – consists of repeated short sprint efforts with limited recovery for the assessment of your fatigue profile • Anaerobic capacity test – maximal cycling effort for a set duration is used to determine your anaerobic cycling capacity
[All packages include: Height, Weight, Body Composition (body fat) and Flexibility testing]

The deadline to have all licence applications to our secretary is Saturday 21st January. Can anyone reading this make others in the club aware of this.

East Tyrone Cycling Club held their AGM at Bluebells Restaurant on Monday the 5th of December at 8pm. Several important matters were discussed with the most important being the election of officers for the 2012 season. A few new positions were also created on the night, which clearly represents the continued growth and demography of the club.
Riveting speeches were provided by the Secretary, Treasurer and Chairman as they delivered their annual reports for the 2011 season.
This was followed by the traditional refreshments which were kindly provided by Bluebells Restaurant.
Below is the list of the officials elected for the forthcoming 2012 season.
